Engineering students installed a memorial on Nov. 11 in memory of 628 U of T staff, students, faculty, and alumni who died during WWI. Visitors left hundreds of poppies by crosses, which were individually named for our 628 fallen heroes.

It's a boy! On Oct. 25, 2008, Professor Georgia Fotopoulos, CIV, gave birth to a 7.1 lb baby boy, Athanasios. Mom and baby are doing well.
