Spring 2015 |
A Message from Elias Kyriacou (ChemE 7T6)
President, Engineering Alumni Association (EAA) |
On March 23, I had the pleasure of attending U of T Engineering’s inaugural Skule Heritage and Engineering Society Awards. It was an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of our Engineering Society members, whose commitment to enhancing the learning environment for present and future students is nothing short of inspirational. It was also a chance for alumni of various generations to share their stories of success and accomplishments with those who were present.

Over the course of one evening, the richness and strength of the entire Skule community was apparent to all in attendance. We are incredibly fortunate at U of T Engineering to have such nurturing groups, both from the past and the future, to draw support from.
Spring Reunion, which takes place the last weekend of May, is another occasion to witness the unbreakable bond of our Skule community. As alumni, you can take pride in U of T Engineering’s achievements. I encourage you to participate in Faculty events and engage your curiosity about the many ways Skule is making a positive contribution to our community here and abroad. If you graduated in the celebrated years, you have the opportunity to reminisce with your former classmates and friends and catch up with one another during the reunion.
Thank you all for keeping the Skule™ spirit vibrant.
Elias Kyriacou
