Research Why did you choose U of T Engineering for graduate studies? My interest in Professor Popovic's research was one of my main reasons to pursue my graduate studies at U of T. His research allows me to work closely with patients and concurrently use my engineering knowledge to improve the activities of their daily lives. In addition, U of T ranks very high for both Engineering and Life Sciences. Biomedical Engineering is a cross-section between these two fields, which makes this one of the top research programs in the world. Further, Toronto is Canada's financial centre and many company headquarters are located here. This allows students to network with professionals in several industries, providing a wide range of opportunities upon graduation. What are your plans after graduation? I have not decided on a particular path yet, and I am open to anything right now. Hopefully the clubs that I am involved with will help me shape my path upon graduation. |
