Fourth Annual MSE Industry Day

The fourth annual MSE Industry Day was held on Thursday, November 5, 2009. Professor Jun Nogami, Chair, hosted a private lunch at Hart House with industry associates and select MSE undergraduate and graduate student leaders.
Acuren, AMEC, Buehler Canada, Celestica, Hatch, Ontario Power Generation, Research in Motion, and TECK presented booths at the open fair in the Michael E. Charles Council Chamber. There, MSE students enjoyed the opportunity to interact with industry representatives and to learn more about the companies.
Several attending industry representatives were MSE alumni who provided students with both a professional perspective and a personal one. They also gained a viewpoint on how their education and experiences could lead them to potential employment in their organizations.
